Range Rover Evoque enters final-phase testing

The final testing phase for the Range Rover Evoque has started but rather than keep this hush-hush, the company is using these testing sessions to market the model.

Throughout the world, hundreds of Evoque prototypes will be exposed to the toughest climates and conditions. In each of the 10 key cities of the world, Land Rover will introduce one car that it has dressed up in funky camouflage. Watch out for these awe-inspiring cars in the following cities: London, New York, Sao Paulo, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Berlin, Sydney, Shanghai and Moscow. Many of Land Rover’s 3,500 engineers are participating in the Evoque test program. Special teams have also been created to go to 20 countries to prove that the Evoque can perform well in extreme conditions, ranging from the desert to the Arctic and from German Autobahns to Tokyo city traffic. A GPS mapping trail of the 10 key cities is actually what’s on the special camouflage of the 10 prototypes, with the cars saying “Hello” to their respective cities.
